Sam has over 15 years of risk management experience gained in the not-for-profit and private sectors. He’s held a number of NGO security management roles at HQ and in field roles in South Sudan and Iraq, and worked for Save the Children, Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC). More recently Sam worked as a senior operations manager for Integrity, a specialist USAID contractor. In this role his security management expertise supported the development of award-winning bids, resulting in USAID contract wins totalling over $80 million USD.
Sam holds a BA in International Relations from Keele University, a Certificate in Security Management from RedR, and an International Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management.
